Current Discount Programs
Below are the various discount programs we currently offer to employers, military and other organizations.
1) Single Employer Cohorts
10% discount for cohorts formed and populated by a single employer on their site.
2) Direct Bill Discount
10% discount for direct bill program – employer agrees to pay bill directly and assume responsibility for student tuition obligations. The 10% discount is offered on the entire tuition amount (We will bundle the discounts listed in #1 and #2.).
Military Tuition Rate
$250 discounted military tuition rate on our adult bachelor’s degree courses only to all active duty military, members of the Guard and Reserve and the spouses of these groups.
4) Retired & Honorably Discharged Military
10% discount to retired and honorably discharged military as a thank you for their service. *See note below.
5) Community College Faculty & Staff
10% discount to fulltime community college faculty and staff who want to pursue their master’s degree at Friends University (More than one degree may be pursued. We will bundle the discounts in #1 and #4).
6) Adjunct Faculty
50% tuition discount for adjunct faculty. Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Masters of Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership (MCSFL) excluded.
7) Providing Promotional Materials
10% discount to businesses, churches or other groups that are willing to provide promotional materials on behalf of Friends University and will assist us in connecting with potential adult and graduate students. Agreements and contracts for these arrangements will be reviewed annually.
8) Wichita Chamber of Commerce Businesses
10% discount to Wichita Chamber of Commerce businesses. Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Masters of Christian Spiritual Formation and Leadership (MCSFL)excluded.
9) Friends University Alumni
10% discount on any graduate program [Masters of Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) and Masters of Christian Spiritual Formation & Leadership (MCSFL) excluded] to graduates of any Friends University bachelor’s degree program. Discount valid for students starting a graduate degree after Nov. 1, 2021.
* This discount will not apply to those using GI Bill benefits at 100% eligibility as defined by the Post-9/11 GI Bill or those using Vocational-Rehabilitation benefits as defined by Chapter 31 of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Education Benefits.
