My experience in the Masters of Science in Management was exceptional. While the Cohort Format was new to the university when I was accepted as a student for the second class of the MSM program, the learning experience was rich, practical and challenging. It was just what I needed.

I had determined that management was something that I enjoyed in the workplace and desired to be able to apply what I leaned in the classroom to my career. While the pace of the courses were challenging, due to the extended reading requirements and literature reviews, they provided me a strong knowledge base with opportunities to interact with classmates with varied levels of managerial experience. I believe it was the combination of readings, discussions and small group presentations that truly enhanced my learning experience along with high quality faculty members who had done what they were teaching.

After completing my masters, the opportunity for career advancement came quickly. I was promoted to associate dean and then within two years was promoted to dean at the age of twenty-nine years old. Without completing this program, these opportunities would not have been afforded me. In addition to career and vocational credentials, this program also prepared me for successful completion of my doctorate in higher education administration. I would recommend this program to anyone with a desire to learn, a passion to excel and a commitment to enhanced performance in the workplace.
