Adult Education Programs at Friends University

The College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) offers a full range of important bachelor’s degrees in the degree completion format targeted to the busy adult. This adult education learning includes general degrees such as the Organizational Management and Leadership program, specific niche degrees such as Accounting and cutting-edge studies such as Computer Information Systems.

Each adult degree completion program has been designed to create maximum student-to-faculty and student-to-student interaction. Each degree program is taught in an accelerated format. We also offer the Program for Adult College Education (PACE) for adults just beginning the college journey.

Our adult education programs are taught by professionals who have been chosen for their rigorous understanding of the theoretical foundation of their disciplines and their appreciation for real-world application. For the same reasons, students are encouraged to develop projects drawn from their own job experiences. They are taught how to integrate their course work into their experience as early as possible in their programs.

Our Adult Education Mission is Threefold:

  • CUSTOMERS and PARTNERS
The College of Adult and Professional Studies is a vital partner with the Friends University administration, academic divisions, support services, and external customers and clients in shaping the development of successful organizations.
  • UNIQUE SOURCE OF VALUE
The College of Adult and Professional Studies delivers to our business, industry, and government partners the best value in adult and professional development interventions through innovative delivery systems.
  • POSITION in the MARKET
The College of Adult and Professional Studies maintains its position as the market leader in adult and professional studies by meeting the professional development needs of our current customers and clients while seeking new and innovative programs that reflect emerging market needs of working adults within the human side of the enterprise.
