Adult Degree Programs

Friends University’s associate degree completion program – or PACE (Program for Adult College Education) – is an academic program for adults who wish to begin or continue their college studies. Our adult college education in Kansas offers general studies or general business courses arranged in a convenient format that makes the academic program very accessible and manageable for most adult students. The special class configuration permits students to enroll in a full academic load of general education coursework while still maintaining work and home responsibilities.

Adult Education Associate Degree Completion

Convenient scheduling with our associate degree programs is what makes PACE particularly unique and very accessible to adult students. PACE is a term-based program in which courses are one semester in length during academic terms. Semester courses generally are arranged so that a student can take two or three courses by attending class one evening per week. Saturday classes are also available. The scheduling format permits students to enroll in a full academic load and receive quality classroom time with a minimal number of trips to campus.

Credits earned through PACE may lead to an Associate of General Studies degree or an Associate of General Business degree. General education coursework completed through PACE may fulfill partial requirements for a bachelor's degree or simply provide the minimum 62 credits required for admission into an accelerated bachelor’s degree-completion program.
