Greetings and welcome to the College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS)!

We’re very pleased to offer a portfolio of strong academic programs across a wide range of subject areas. Our programs are designed to provide adult students with a liberal arts foundation to complement the most current content in professional fields. We have something for everyone! PACE (Program for Adult College Education) is designed for first-time or returning adult college students. The program provides a general education foundation that can lead to an associate degree or can qualify students for admission into a degree completion program leading to a bachelor’s degree.

CAPS degree completion programs offer a convenient model of compressed five-week classes, which enables adult students to fulfill their educational goals by attending class one night a week while maintaining their busy lifestyles.

Friends University’s unique education model combines academic professors with practicing professionals in the community to ensure the latest content in the field, using the most effective adult education teaching methods. Every effort is made to provide the finest education in the most convenient, effective way for adult students, which includes open communication, collaboration and high ethical standards in all adult programs.

Friends University is proud of a long-standing history of providing best-practice education for adult students based on a foundation of Christian values. Our mission is to provide our students with a relevant, enjoyable education that helps them realize their personal and professional education goals.
