Students will:

1. Be able to effectively communicate scientifically.
2. Be able to use/operate equipment commonly used by field biologists.
3. Demonstrate an ability to find current scientific literature and use it
   to summarize research results.
4. Engage in at least one out-of-class internship experience that will
   build expereinces and/or networking relationships that can be used
   in a career.
