Global MBA: Health Care Leadership Concentration
We are excited to announce a new concentration in Health Care Leadership as part of the Professional MBA and Global MBA programs. This concentration brings like-minded students together through a series of four courses to better prepare you for a professional administrator role. This advanced program is designed to help you develop the management and finance knowledge that builds on your existing background to develop knowledge and skills you can apply immediately to create innovative solutions and to adapt and lead in ever-changing national and global health care systems.
The advantages of an interdisciplinary program are blending core Professional MBA or Global MBA expertise with cutting-edge health care courses taught by executive faculty from the field. Courses in the concentration go beyond theories and generalities of health care administration to prepare you through practiced activities specific to today’s health care challenges.
The Professional MBA and Global MBA program include a prior learning assessment that could potentially reduce the program by at least two courses. This enables well-qualified students to either reduce their time to completion or add courses to the program of study to further their expertise. As such, well prepared students from the field can complete the program in three to four intense semesters.
Friends University also offers a Master in Health Care Leadership. For information about this advanced program preparing operational leaders, please click here.
We offer adult-focused master's degrees in Wichita, Topeka, the greater Kansas City area and online. Not all courses and programs are available in all locations or in both online and on-campus formats. Please check with your Admissions Counselor for more details.
