Global MBA: Supply Chain Management & Logistics Concentration
We are excited to announce a new concentration in Supply Chain Management and Logistics as part of the Professional MBA and Global MBA programs. The concentration brings like-minded students together through a series of four courses to develop your expertise in knowing and using important features of ERP systems, conducting lean manufacturing reviews, getting certified in Six Sigma, and developing a supply chain to obtain a competitive advantage.
This uniquely crafted concentration is designed for those involved in exporting, importing, producing and partnering with businesses associated with the I-35 corridor between Canada and Mexico as well as throughout the United States and the world. Clearly, there is a strong need in your career to keep pace with the demands of an increasingly global economy. The knowledge, skills and learning experiences included in the Professional MBA, and especially the Global MBA, places you in the forefront of thinking and working with others across multiple approaches and frameworks.
The Supply Chain Management and Logistics concentration is part of a growing field which includes procurement, transportation, information technology, and manufacturing operations, as well as customer and cross-organizational relationship management. As a concentration with the Professional MBA or Global MBA, the interdisciplinary study requires students to develop their capacities to be successful from procurement to forecasting through innovative, cost-effective solutions to address supply chain problems and issues. The concentration is taught by industry experts and faculty with deep and practical understandings of business, global business, and supply chain management and logistics.
The Professional MBA and Global MBA programs include a prior learning assessment that could potentially reduce the program by at least two foundations courses. This enables a well-qualified student to complete the program in as few as three or four intense semesters.
If you need a deeper study of operations management, Friends University offers a Master of Science in Operations Management. For more information about this program, click here.
We offer adult-focused master's degrees in Wichita, Topeka, the greater Kansas City area and online. Not all courses and programs are available in all locations or in both online and on-campus formats. Please check with your Admissions Counselor for more details.
