To meet the requirements of the capstone course, each student will choose an information technology area:

1. Identify a problem/opportunity that lends itself to a technology solution.
2. Perform a literature search.
3. Write and present a formal research paper.
   
   Or:

1. Perform a Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
2. Prepare a written report.
3. Develop and fully document a prototype.
4. Present the report and demonstrate the prototype.
