International Business

Candidates for a degree in International Business must complete the Common Professional Core (CPC) and General Education/Bachelor of Science requirements specified by the Division of Business and Information Technology as shown here.  In addition, candidates for a degree in International Business must meet the requirements listed on this page.


A grade of “C” or better must be earned in each division-required course applied to the major or minor.

The International Business major is designed to help students prepare for a career in an organization that does business both domestically and in one or more countries abroad.  Graduates in the major will be exposed to the fundamental principles of business within the richer context of the global, cross-cultural perspective.  Examples of potential employers include multi-national companies, non-governmental organizations, and other not-for-profits.
