Leadership and Management

The MLM curriculum provides broad-based managerial skills with emphasis on leadership in local and international business environments. Students study management and organizational theories, leadership, decision making, project management, corporate social responsibility, and business law. Using case studies, small-group interaction, student presentations and research papers, students practice the application of theory to service and manufacturing decisions in both profit and non-profit organizations. Learning the business dynamics of cultural issues and obstacles prepares graduates to manage a multi-cultural workforce and lead across international boundaries. Technology integration enhances student efficiency and effectiveness in skill development.

The Master of Leadership and Management program uses the cohort model with small classes which promotes each student's active engagement in the educational process. The program draws students from diverse backgrounds and professional paths to broaden their academic experience and professional networks.

Schedule
Each MLM course is eight weeks long, and courses are sequential. Classes meet one night per week, usually from 6 to 10 p.m. for 24 months.
