A Unique Program
No matter what your proficiency level with the Spanish language, Friends University has a challenging and life-changing program for you. The University offers courses at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Students are also encouraged to study abroad. Our sister university relationship with La Salle University in Cancun allows us to offer a language and culture immersion experience in Mexico each summer. Kappa Phi, the Friends University chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the national Spanish honor society, has won Outstanding National Chapter 11 times since 1992. Graduates of our program are well-prepared to undertake graduate studies in many fields. Additionally, our graduates have a multitude of employment opportunities in international commerce, travel companies, radio and media, medicine, government, mission work, law, education, and social services.
