China enjoys a rich history, dating back … well, dating back before there were dates. Students at Friends University will have the opportunity to explore the history, culture and excitement as part of a study-abroad course in 2012.
During the trip, travelers will tour the bustling metropolis of Hong Kong, the history of Canton, and the grandeur of Beijing. Stops along the way include temples, royal palaces and gardens, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall.
The cost of the trip has not been determined, but will include hotel accommodations, meals, entrance fees to special attractions, travel fees within China and Hong Kong, and application fees for visas to China. Tuition is not included. Students will travel by train and bus throughout China.
