Teacher Workshops at Friends University
Since 1988, Friends University has sponsored the Workshops for Teachers Program. In response to teacher need, the program has grown from 13 offerings to nearly 60 offerings on the Wichita campus with additional workshops available at the Lenexa and Topeka Education Centers. The Graduate Workshop Program strives to meet the needs of busy educators by providing a growing number of meaningful opportunities not only through the summer but into the fall and spring. The workshops can be used to fulfill state license renewal requirements for school personnel.
Participants will be able to select classes that apply to their specific content area or grade level and address areas of interest or need. The diversity of offerings allows teachers to experience some of the many educational opportunities available within the community.
Grades are generally mailed to you three to five weeks after the workshop registration form has been received in the Wichita office. Please note that during our busy time (summer), this process may take longer. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to process registrations and grades as quickly as possible.
