Leann Alexander
Member
Leann received her bachelor's degree in 1985, majoring in religion and philosophy and minoring in church music. She lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri, with her husband, John, and their two children, Katie and Jillian.
Some of Leann's hobbies include scrapbooking, baking, reading and spending time with her family.
As a member of the Kansas City Alumni Advisory Board, Leann wants to "effectively share with people the great experience students can have attending Friends University and the life-changing experience it can be. I believe this committee would give me an opportunity to promote Friends," she said.

Michelle Burdine
Member
Michelle graduated in 2003 with her undergraduate degree in
organizational management and leadership. She lives in Louisburg,
Kansas, with her husband, Reed, and their two children. She is the
president of 4 Burds Inc. and the owner of Always Best Care Senior
Services in Overland Park.
Michelle remembers her graduation day fondly. “Graduation really
brought everything together for me and made me realize how ‘real’
Friends was in the academic world – not just a building where I
attended class in Kansas City,” she said.
As part of the Kansas City Alumni Advisory board, Michelle hopes she
will make the University more “real” for Kansas City students and “help
them realize the importance of Friends University after they graduate
and move on into their careers.”

Jayneen Hammons
Member
Jayneen graduated from Friends University with a master's degree in Quality Systems Management (MSQSM) in 2000. She currently resides in Kansas City, Mo. Jayneen is a single mom and enjoys walking, skating, reading and cooking. "One of the things that I remember the most (about Friends) is my classmates and how well we were able to get along and work together," Jayneen said. "Also the instructor was VERY helpful, patient and understanding. I would recommend Friends University to anyone who wants to continue their education, whether it be undergrad or graduate-level studies." Jayneen also serves as the class agent for the MSQSM class newsletter.

Errol Logue
Member
As a 1963 graduate of the Friends University Wichita campus, some of
Errol's fondest college memories include running cross-country (a new
athletic program which had begun in 1959), being captain of the 1963 track team (coached by Bob Moore) and attending classes taught
by Dr. Phil Nagley and Dr. Roy Ray.
A retired high school teacher and coach, Errol enjoys spending time with his wife, Claudia, and bowling. They have two sons, Andrew and Matthew.
As
a member of the Kansas City Alumni Advisory Board, Errol looks forward
to reconnecting with Friends University at the Kansas City-Lenexa
education center.

Jodie McMahon
Secretary
Jodie received her graduate degree in Human Resource Development and
Organizational Development (MHRD/OD) from Friends University in 2000.
She has a great family that includes her husband Jim, daughter Erin,
son-in-law Chris, granddaughter Reece, and sons Patrick and Sean. She
lives in Lenexa and is a training and development consultant,
specializing in team building, leadership development and motivational
training. She is currently working on her Project Management
Professional certification.
Jodie has many things that she
enjoys in her free time, including reading, movies, traveling and being
involved in her son Sean’s Special Olympic activities. She is
passionate about the Special Olympics and is involved in the Down
Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City.
As a member of the Kansas City Alumni
Advisory Board, Jodie hopes to make a difference and positively impact
the local community through awareness of Friends University and the
advisory board.

Anthony Murdock
President
Anthony graduated in 2003 with his bachelor’s degree in computer
information systems and in 2006 with a master’s degree in organization
development. He works as a project manager for a healthcare company
that assists in transforming practices to a patient center medical home
(PCMH) model of care.
He and his wife, Pamela, live in Shawnee, Kansas. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys playing golf, sand volleyball and traveling.
Anthony has a “great sense of accomplishment” from getting his
graduate degree at Friends University before reaching his 40s. As part
of the Kansas City Alumni Advisory Board, he hopes to “develop more
relationships with people within the University network as well as the
community,” he said.

Steven Parscale
Member
Steven graduated from Friends University in 1986 with his undergraduate
degree in human resource management (HRM). He then went on to complete
his graduate degree in management (MSM) from Friends University in
1988. One of his favorite memories as a college student was when he
received his undergraduate diploma in his backyard from Dr. Bob Dove,
the vice president for Academic Affairs at that time. Steven
loves spending time with his wife of 33 years, Alethea, and their five children. He is the Director of Accreditation for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs and also is an adjunct instructor for Friends University. Giving back to Friends and the Kansas City community were what prompted Steven to apply to become a member of the Kansas City Alumni Advisory Board.

Brandon Raybern
Member
Brandon graduated from Friends University
in 2008 with his bachelor’s degree in organizational management and is
currently working on his master’s degree in business administration.
He
and his wife, Sunny, and their daughter, Brielle, live in Bonner
Springs, Kansas. Besides spending time with his family, he also enjoys
golfing, playing flag football and “the occasional video game with
friends.”
As part of the Kansas City Alumni Advisory
Board, Brandon hopes to engage alumni by using technology. “The social
events that are planned for the future are great, but I think utilizing
the Facebook profile page could really help with outreach.”

Neil Trickey
President-Elect
Neil graduated from Friends University in 1995 with his bachelor’s
degree in business management and again in 2007 with his graduate
degree in business administration. Neil currently works at
Power-Motion Sales Inc. in Lenexa, Kansas. In his spare time he enjoys
spending time with his friends and family, traveling, doing home repair
projects, and singing with his church choir. One of his
favorite memories as a traditional undergraduate student was traveling
with the Singing Quakers student choir to eastern Europe in 1994.
This is Neil’s second term on the Kansas City Alumni Advisory Board. “I
try to continually include Friends University in my life and stay
connected when possible. The people I have and continue to meet through
Friends always keep me coming back.”
