Circle of Friends: Pave Your Way into History
Friends University alumni have the opportunity to help pave the path from yesterday to tomorrow through the Circle of Friends Plaza. This beautiful brick pathway joins the Green Residence Hall with the rest of the campus and signifies our continued growth and stature as a University. Your tax-deductible contribution (starting from as little as $50) from the sale of each brick goes toward alumni scholarships.
With your help, all incoming traditional undergraduate freshmen whose parent is a graduate or former student of Friends University (defined as having completed 12 credit hours) will automatically receive a meaningful alumni scholarship. Those students will then be eligible to renew this scholarship for each subsequent class year they attend Friends University as long as they maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where will my brick be placed?
Bricks will be permanently displayed within the Circle of Friends plaza between the Green Residence Hall and Sumpter Hall.
How many words can I have engraved on my brick?
The smaller bricks can be engraved with two lines of text and the larger bricks with three lines of text, up to 12 characters on each line (including spaces).
How much does it cost?
The smaller 4X8 bricks are $50 each and the larger 6X8 bricks are $100 each.
How will my gift help the University?
Proceeds from each brick sold will be used to fund the alumni scholarships.
Is my gift tax deductible?
The entire price of the brick is tax deductible.
