The undergraduate faculty recently approved a new degree track in Christian spiritual formation—the first of its kind. It is expected that the program will offer an experiential education with the goal of Christ-like transformation, while preparing students to impact the world. Under the direction of Dr. James Bryan Smith (author of eight books in the field of Christian spiritual formation, including the Apprentice Series) and other outstanding faculty, students will be exposed to both the classic and contemporary thinking in spiritual formation. The main focus of the Institute will be to involve students in “hands on” ministry both locally and internationally.
