Trumpeter John D’Earth and saxophonist Jeff Decker, from the University of Virginia, will bring John’s suite for big band titled the “Green Chemistry Project” to Friends University. A pre-concert talk on the Green Chemistry movement will set the tone for this great night of jazz with Friends University’s Jazz Ensemble I.

A new comic adaptation by Patrick Dorn of the poignant 17th century classic, originally penned by John Bunyan. Told through a provoking dream with humor and conviction, many of the iconic characters and settings appear in this contemporary allegory. Come follow the story of a passionate traveler in his flight from destruction to find the promised land. First presented by Denver’s “The Troupe” in 2008, this Kansas premiere is shared by ACTS of FAITH in celebration of their 15th anniversary of outreach to our regional community.
