Friends University to Present Comical ‘Chekhov’s Vaudevilles’

Beloved Russian author Anton Chekhov once said, “Any idiot can face a crisis – it’s day-to-day living that wears you out.”

Friends University’s Drama Department will present a series of Chekhov’s dramatic sketches filled with characters worn out from day-to-day living and faced with ridiculous situations that bring out the idiot in them.

“Doctor Chekhov’s Vaudevilles: A Light-Hearted Sampling of His Dramatic Humor” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18-19, and 3 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium.
