What is the visitation policy?
Green Hall’s visitation policy states that individuals of the opposite sex are allowed in suites of an opposite gender from 7 a.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday. Visitation on Friday and Saturday lasts until 1 a.m. in GRH suites. Members of the opposite sex are not allowed in suites past visitation hours. The lobby on the first floor and the lounge areas on the second floor will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These areas are for visiting and studying, not sleeping. Cohabitation (living together) and sexual relations by unmarried individuals/couples is not allowed.
The upper class facilities do not have visitation hours. However, unauthorized guests and cohabitation are not allowed.

Can I move out if I don’t like where I am living?
Residents living in Green Hall are locked into their contract for the full nine months of that contract. Those wishing to get out of their contracts must see the vice president of Students Affairs and go through the appeal’s process. Those living in upper class facilities are locked into their contracts for 12 months. They, too, must go through the appeal’s process if wishing to break their contract early.

Residence Life asks that you live with your roommate for at least two weeks before requesting a move. Residence Life will work with residents on a case-by-case basis if space is available for a room change.
Are cable and Internet charges includes in my housing fees?
In Green Hall, the living room cable is included in the overall cost of housing. Cable is also available in the bedrooms, but residents are responsible for paying for this portion on their own, if they wish. Two Ethernet connections are available in each bedroom as well as a connection in the living room. The Internet, too, is included in the overall housing costs. Cable and Internet connections are also included in all upper-class facilities, with the exception of the houses, where only cable is provided.
