Laura Church has felt Friends University was very special since the day she first stepped foot on campus. There is just something about this institution that is unlike any other. From being a student and earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, to becoming a full-time employee and helping students find the right fit for college, Friends University has been a place of comfort and happiness for Laura since 2003.

As a student, she met some of her best friends through being active on campus. Laura was a member of the women’s soccer team and participated in student government, campus ministries, intramurals, on-campus living and the business club. 

As a campus visit coordinator in the Admissions Office, Laura’s key role is scheduling individual and group visits for prospective students. She plans appointments for faculty visits, meetings with athletic coaches, auditions for fine arts students, campus tours, classroom visits, visits with student clubs or organizations and visits with admissions counselors and financial aid representatives.

Friends University changed Laura’s life as a student and continues to impact her on a daily basis. Laura can say without hesitation that the caring, lively, friendly community of Friends University makes this place worth taking a look at!
