Falcon Volunteer Incentive Program

Friends University recognizes and appreciates the time and talents our students give to improve our campus, the Wichita community, and beyond through community service. Starting fall 2007, the Cross Cultural Programs and Services office will implement a NEW program specifically for those dedicated volunteers! It’s called, the Falcon Volunteer Incentive Program (Falcon V.I.P.), and here’s how it works:

Volunteer your time
Log your volunteer hours using the monthly Volunteer Hours Log. (NOTE: You may download the printable log here, or pick up a form in the Cross Cultural Programs and Service office in Casado 004A.)
Submit your hour logs to the Cross Cultural Programs and Services office in Casado 004A. The following are due dates for Falcon V.I.P. Hours for the 2007-08 academic year:
- Sept. 28, 2007
- Nov. 30, 2007
- Dec. 31, 2007
- Jan. 31, 2008
- Feb. 29, 2008
- March 31, 2008
- April 30, 2008
- May 30, 2008
- June 30, 2008

Once your hours are verified and entered into the Falcon V.I.P. database, students will get a punch for every five hours of completed service. Volunteers will also get a prize when they hit 25, 50, 75 and 100 hours of service!

In an effort to track community service efforts by the entire Friends University community, faculty, staff, and administration are encouraged to fill out a monthly Volunteer Hours Log. However, they will not be eligible to participate in the Falcon V.I.P.
