Homecoming

The 2010 Friends University Homecoming festivities will take place Saturday, Oct. 2. The following is a schedule of the events scheduled for that day:

  • $5 Pancake Breakfast
    • 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., McKay Gymnasium, Casado Campus Center
    • Hosted by the Friends University Concert Choir
  • Reunions for the Classes of 1950, '60, '70, '80, '85, '90 and '00
    • 12 p.m. ~ Check-in for all classes, Davis Administration Building, 2nd floor
    • 1 p.m. ~ Welcome and update on campus happenings, Alumni Auditorium, 3rd floor
    • 2 p.m. ~ Class reunions, photos and campus tours

  • Homecoming Parade
    • 5 p.m. ~ University Avenue and Hiram Street
    • Motorcyclists and classic car drivers wanted! Click here to e-mail the Alumni Office for more information.
  • Block Party
    • 5:30 ~ Garvey Practice Field, corner of St. Clair and Kellogg Drive
    • FREE tailgate dinner of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, ice cream sandwiches and beverages!
    • FREE carnival with inflatables, games and prizes!
  • Falcon Football vs. Bethel College Threshers
    • 7 p.m. ~ Adair-Austin Stadium
    • Halftime ~ Crowning of 2010 Homecoming Royalty
    • First 100 fans through the gate will receive a free spirit gift from the Alumni Association!
