The 2011 Friends University Homecoming festivities will take place Saturday, Oct. 1. The following is a schedule of the events scheduled for that day (last updated July 2, 2011):

Class Reunions (2:30-4:30 p.m.)

• Check-in begins at 2 p.m. in the Davis Administration Building, first floor.
• Reunions will begin at 2:30 p.m. and go until approximately 4:30 p.m. in order to give our families time to make their way to the Homecoming parade.
• Attendees will have the opportunity to take a private tour of the campus and have a class photo taken.
• Light snacks and beverages will be provided courtesy of the Friends University Alumni Association.

Homecoming Parade (5-5:30 p.m.)

• The annual Homecoming parade will march down University Avenue, turn down Hiram Street, follow Kellogg Drive and end at the Garvey Practice Field.
• Be sure to bring a bag to collect all the candy thrown by the parade participants!
• The Alumni Office is looking for alumni who want to bring their motorcycle or classic car out to ride in the parade. Click here to contact the Alumni Office for more information.

Block Party and Carnival (5:30-7 p.m.)

• Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks will be provided FREE to all our Homecoming attendees!
• Be sure to stop by the FREE carnival afterwards to allow your little ones to play on one of our inflatable rides or win a prize.
• Stop by the Alumni Association hospitality tent to sign up for door prizes (to be given away at halftime of the football game) and get a Freddy Falcon tattoo.
• Two lucky children will win a Crayola® Color Wonder Sound Studio by entering the Homecoming coloring contest!

Football Game (7-9:30 p.m.)

• Come cheer for your Friends University Falcons as they take on the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes.
• First 100 fans through the gate will receive a free spirit gift from the Alumni Association!
• Choral alumni wanted to help sing the national anthem! Click here to e-mail the Alumni Office for more information.
• Game tickets are $7 for adults, $2 for students and senior citizens, free for children 12 and younger and students with a Friends University ID.
• Stop by the Alumni Association hospitality tent to sign up for door prizes (to be given away at half-time of the football game) and get a Freddy Falcon tattoo.
• Come see who will be crowned this year's Homecoming Royalty crowning (to be announced at halftime).
