Off-Campus Resources
What online resources are available to off-site students?
The library catalog, FriendLiCat, and all of the ONLINE DATABASES are accessible from any computer on the internet. These resources are available 24 hours/day unless systems are down for maintenance. Beside the name of each database is a gray Info button.
Can I get books from the Edmund Stanley Library if I'm not in Wichita?
A: Yes. To request a title, call the Interlibrary Loan Office at (316) 295-5887. Please include the complete title and author. The library pays all sending charges, and the patron pays all return shipping. The library will also send copies of articles which the patron may keep.
How do I get copies of journal articles which aren't available in databases?
A: You have two options: send the citation to AskMax or request it through interlibrary loan. AskMax will attempt to find what you need in one of the library's other databases or in our print collection. Interlibrary loan, (316) 295-5887, can order the article from another library. There is no charge for either of these services.
Whom do I call if I have problems with my username or password?
A: Information Services (IS) maintains all usernames and passwords. Contact them at (316) 295-5SOS (5767) or 800- 794-6945.
