The Music Theatre program at Friends University presents opportunities for students to gain essential experience through preparation and performance of a major production each academic year. Refurbished Sebits Auditorium serves as the main stage.

THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE

Ladies and Gentlemen, beware! Pirates! Where? Not those of the Caribbean, nor even of Somalia, nor the brazen buccaneers of Borneo. We mean those roving, rootless privateers from the drifting, derelict dunes far from safety and security of sweet civilized society. Could we mean the--? No! Yes! We do! Those peerlessly predacious PIRATES OF PENZANCE immortalized in the unfailingly flawless lyrics of W. S. Gilbert and blissfully unblemished tunes of Arthur Sullivan.
