Friends University Ballet Hosts ‘Nutcracker’ Auditions

Wed. 08/26/2009 Friends University will be holding auditions for its 2009 “Nutcracker” performances. The audition schedule is as follows:
- Auditions for experienced dancers
Ages 15 and older
5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 - Auditions for boys (for the party scene)
No training required
11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 19 - Auditions for girls
Ages 6-8. Training required.
Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 - Auditions for girls
Ages 9-14. Training required.
1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 - Auditions for adults
2:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19
“The Nutcracker” is an original, fully costumed production and will run the second and third weekends of December 2009 at Friends University.
