The Friends University Presents Jazz Meets Broadway

Friends University Jazz Department will present a performance titled “Jazz Meets Broadway” on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium.

“Jazz Meets Broadway” will feature the award winning Friends University Jazz Ensemble I and the Friends University Jazz Vocal Ensemble. The famous “West Side Story Suite” from the library of Buddy Rich, and arrangements from the Stan Kenton album “The Stage Door Swings” will be featured, along with many other jazz standards that come to us from the Broadway stage. The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium inside the Riney Fine Arts Center located at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased by calling 316-295-5677 or at the door.
