The Friends University Jazz Department is proud to present trumpet player Tanya Darby in concert with the Friends University Jazz Ensembles on Friday, Nov. 20th at 7:30 PM in Sebits Auditorium.
Tayna Darby is the jazz trumpet professor at the University of North Texas, and before this fall resided in New York City. She has been the lead trumpet player with both the Village Vanguard Orchestra and the DIVA Orchestra, as well as playing with many other New York based groups.
The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium at the Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.. and the performance is $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.
