Open House, Ribbon Cutting at Friends University Dec. 1

Friends University will host an open house event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, on the second floor of the Davis Administration Building on the Wichita campus. Attendees can learn more about all of the Friends University programs, from traditional undergraduate to the Graduate School, in addition to the Cisco Networking Academy.

A Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place for the Cisco Networking Academy at 5:30 p.m. in the College of Adult and Professional Studies/Information Technology Facility, room 101. Cisco instructors will be on-site in the CAPS/IT building during the open house to answer questions and give demonstrations of various elements of the Certified Cisco Network Associate and IT Essentials curricula.

The Cisco Networking Academy at Friends University is currently offering two programs: Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) and IT Essentials. Cisco programs and courses at Friends University do not earn college credit and are non-degree seeking programs. For more information, visit www.friends.edu/cisco.

The College for Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS)
CAPS offers two associate degrees (general business and general studies) and five bachelor degree completion programs (accounting, business management, computer information systems, human resource management, and organizational management and leadership). The Graduate School
The Graduate School offers 11 master degree programs: business administration, business law, Christian ministry, environmental studies, family therapy, health care leadership, leadership and management, management information systems, operations management, organizational development, and teaching. The College of Business, Arts, Sciences and Education
