An expert on international economic regimes will discuss his observances at the Law, Liberty and the Market lecture series at 7 p.m. March 30 in Alumni Auditorium in the Davis Administration Building.
Dr. Chris Fawson is an economics professor and associate dean of international affairs at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He has travelled extensively, and has observed and advised on the topic of economic development. Fawson will speak on market principles under different regimes, such as Peru, China and Russia.
The event is free and open to the public. It is the third of four lectures in the Law, Liberty and the Market series, which is sponsored by the Fred C. and Mary R. Koch Foundation. The lecture series is intended to give students the opportunity to hear from writers and thinkers beyond the Friends University faculty.
