With the economy on the upswing after one of the nation’s worst recessions, one expert is examining what lessons we should take away from the collapse.
Dr. Brian Domitrovic will explore whether or not we have learned anything from previous economic crises at 7 p.m. April 20 in the Marriage and Family Therapy facility, room 101.
Dr. Domitrovic holds a doctorate in history from Harvard University with a field in economics. He teaches at the University of Houston and has spoken to audiences across the country. He has recently published “Econoclasts: The Rebels Who Sparked the Supply-Side Revolution and Restored American Prosperity,” the first and only history of supply-side economics.
The event is free and open to the public. It is the final of four lectures in the Law, Liberty and the Market series, which is sponsored by the Fred C. and Mary R. Koch Foundation. The lecture series is intended to give students the opportunity to hear from writers and thinkers beyond the Friends University faculty.
