Friends University will present its annual Symphony of Spring concert at 7:30 p.m. April 22-24 and at 3 p.m. April 25 in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center.

Titled “Starting Here, Starting Now!,” Symphony of Spring 2010 is about new life, new beginnings and renewal.

“Symphony of Spring is a great name for a show, but what does a ‘Symphony’ have to do with ‘Spring?’” said Singing Quakers Director Dr. Mark Bartel. “This year’s show celebrates spring, both literally and figuratively, in all its beauty, variety, freshness and energy.”

From show-stopping vocals, to full chorus and orchestra, to up-tempo dance numbers, the Singing Quakers will present 26 numbers from 26 different Broadway musicals both old and new.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students.
