Friends University Honors Psi Chi Inductees at Ceremony

Friends University’s chapter of Psi Chi inducted its new members in an annual ceremony at 3 p.m. in the Marriage and Family Therapy building in April. Friends’ chapter has won the Model Chapter award twice and was awarded the 2008 National Chapter of the Year.

Students must be invited to join the organization and fulfill the requirements of acceptance, which includes an overall GPA of 3.4 and admittance in a psychology program for either undergraduates or graduates.

Inductees include:

  • Kelsey E. Fleet, senior in human services psychology, Wichita, Kan.
  • Cynthia George, graduate student in marriage and family therapy, Roslyn, S.D.
  • Anne-Marie N. Hanna, junior, undeclared major, Wichita, Kan.
  • Danna Deeter Haverty, graduate student in marriage and family therapy, Leawood, Kan.
