Dr. John Taylor, Friends University professor of music, and Dr. Timothy Shade, Bethel College instructor of instrumental music, will present a combined recital at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in Sebits Auditorium in the Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus.

Dr. Taylor, tuba, and Dr. Shade, euphonium, will be accompanied by Dr. James Knight, Friends University assistant professor of piano, and Rolaine Hetherington, Friends University adjunct faculty. The recital will feature a trio for euphonium, tuba and piano. The music was composed by David Gillingham, a former composer-in-residence with the Friends University Concert Band.

The concert is free and open to the public.
