What a prospective employee wears can make a strong impression on a current or future employer. The next Backpack-to-Briefcase workshop in the 2011 series, hosted by the Campus and Career Transitions Office, will help job seekers navigate their closets and differentiate among appropriate interview attire, business casual and business formal.

This Dress-for-Success event is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 2 in the Casado Conference Room. All students are invited to attend this event. Kim Vigil and Laurie McPherson from JC Penney will discuss clothing options that will increase workplace success.

“This is a great opportunity for students to learn about career dress for interviews and professional situations,” said Preston Todd, director of the Campus and Career Transitions Office. “Attending the Backpack-to-Briefcase series allows students to ask questions and feel confident and prepared for entering the workplace upon graduation.”
