Chikwanine to Share His Journey of Hope Feb. 1
Friends University’s Falcon Activities and Campus Events (FACE) presents guest speaker Michel Chikwanine 7:30 to 9 p.m., Feb. 1, in Casado Campus Center’s McKay Gymnasium. Chikwanine will discuss his personal story of transformation from a former child soldier and refugee during the Great African War to motivational speaker and nationally known activist. He has spoken to more than 100,000 people and was included on Oprah’s O Ambassadors Roots of Actions speaking tour.
