Friends University’s graduating art students will be displaying some of their finest work at the annual Senior Art Show before walking across the stage this May.
There will be an opening reception on April 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. as well as a closing reception on Friday, April 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. during Wichita’s gallery crawl known as Final Friday. The show is on the second floor of the downtown art gallery CityArts, located at 334 N. Mead.
With over 60 works of art, including paintings, digital drawings, sculptures and photographs, visitors will enjoy the many styles and different approaches to art by the 11 graduating seniors. Admission is free and CityArts welcomes visitors to see the show during their regular business hours as well which are Monday’s from 1 to 9 p.m., Tuesday’s through Thursday’s from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday’s from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday’s from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
