Friends University uses the Falcon Alert system to disseminate timely notifications to users via multiple communications channels including mobile text alerts and email. The alert system notifies students at University sites in Wichita, Topeka and Lenexa sites independently.
students, staff and faculty who have provided cell phone numbers to the
University automatically receive the alerts unless they choose to
opt out. Students who choose to opt out will not
receive these notifications.
Students, staff and faculty who are not receiving the alerts or who have had changes in their cell phone number should visit www.friends.edu/falcon-alert to submit a form to update their information. The form allows students to opt in or opt out. In addition, parents of students and other people connected to Friends University can also receive alerts by signing up at www.friends.edu/falcon-alert.
