Friends University Hosts 19th Annual Jazz Festival
The 19th annual Friends University Jazz Festival will be held Feb. 17-18 at the Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus.
The Matt Wilson Quartet from New York, jazz vocalist Jennifer Barnes from the University of North Texas, and the Friends University Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Vocal Ensemble will be featured in a headliner concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18.
More than 800 jazz students will participate in the two-day jazz festival.
Day time events are free and open to the public. Tickets to the headliner concert cost $15 for adults, and $12 for seniors and students. For more information on this performance or other Fine Arts events, please contact the Fine Arts box office at 316-295-5677 or finearts@friends.edu.
