The Singing Quakers Alumni Concert, directed by Dr. Cecil J. Riney, will perform its annual concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10. The singers will be joined by world-renowned composer and writer Mark Hayes. Hayes has succeeded in both sacred and secular choral music fields, including winning a Dove award for his album, “I’ve Just Seen Jesus.”

“We are one of only a few choir groups like this anywhere in the United States,” said board president Scot Pierce. The Alumni Choir is made up of almost 80 voices and orchestra.

The fall concert will be held at Eastminister Presbyterian Church, 1958 N. Webb Road in Wichita. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. There is a group rate of $8 for eight or more people. Tickets for the concert can be purchased by cash or check at the door or by calling the Friends University Box Office at 316-295-5677.

Tickets purchased through the Fine Arts Box Office will need to be picked up prior to Nov. 8.
