Jazz Fest Draws Top Talent

Bobby Watson and Horizon will be the headlining performance at the 21st annual Friends University Jazz Festival. The festival brings area middle school and high school students to the Wichita campus to perfect their skills by working with these talented musicians. The festival runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 22, culminating in Watson’s performance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium.

Daytime events on Feb. 21-22 are free and open to the public. 

Ticket prices for the invitational concert are $9 for adults, and $6 for seniors and students. Prices for the headliner concert are $25 for adults, and $20 for seniors and students. All tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Fine Arts Box Office at 316-295-5677.
