Well-known Wichita jazz artist and Friends University professor Lisa Hittle will be a featured performer at a concert to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children.

Hittle, director of the Friends University jazz department and assistant professor of music, will join the Midian Shrine Million Dollar Band DanceKatz and the Senseney Music Community Band in this special performance at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Wichita Scottish Rite Center auditorium at 332 East 1st Street.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Free-will donations will be accepted. All contributions are tax deductible.

In addition to the concert, there will also be a short informational presentation about the Shriners Hospitals for Children. There are 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, providing advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate – regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
