One of Christian rock’s biggest names will be performing a free concert at Friends University at 8 p.m. Nov. 1 in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium.

Remedy Drive’s hit song, “Resuscitate Me,” spent five weeks at No. 1 on Christian rock radio and was nominated for the 2013 Dove Awards song of the year.

“Their music is upbeat and energetic,” said Jennifer Randolph, associate director of campus life at Friends University. “It’s enjoyable and fun to watch for everyone.”

Randolph said she’s seen Remedy Drive in concert and thinks their energy and enthusiasm will appeal to college audiences.

The concert is free and open to the public. Friends University student-directed band Stranded in the City will be also be performing, which Randolph said will also be “fun to watch and listen to.”
