Atlanta based vocalist Carmen Bradford will perform with three of the Friends University Jazz ensembles at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium.
The Friends University Jazz Ensemble I and Soulstice, directed by Lisa Hittle, and the Jazz Vocal Ensemble, directed by Craig Curry, will share the stage with the internationally renowned Bradford.
Count Basie discovered and hired Bradford, and she performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, followed by appearances with Frank Sinatra, DIVA Jazz Orchestra, the National Symphony, Doc Severinsen and many more worldwide artists.
