Friends University will be educating the next generation of cyber-warriors with its new Master of Science in Information Security (MSIS) program, which will launch in fall 2014.
Graduates with an MSIS degree will be equipped to fend off perpetrators in the alarming increase of security breaches, computer hacking, and cyber warfare – all of which present a real and present danger to computer systems and their underlying infrastructure.
Master’s-level curriculum in information security is a first in the Wichita area, and graduates will be employable at any business or organization that employs an IT department. The program will be offered on campus in Wichita and is also available online for students outside the Wichita area. For more information, click here.
