Dr. Carole Obermeyer, vice president of student affairs at Friends University, has watched students grow from two angles: both as a parent and as a University administrator. She understands what parents go through when their children leave the nest, and she understands the challenges students face when they embark on a college career. Her unique perspective helps her in guiding parents and students through their time at Friends University.

As part of that guidance, she writes a weekly newsletter during the spring and fall semesters to keep parents up-to-date on what their students might be doing, events around campus and ideas to stay connected with students.
