And a Time to Dance
The Friends University Ballet Department is proud to host the American College Dance Festival Association Central Region Conference for the second year in a row. The conference will be held March 5-8, 2008, at Friends University's Wichita campus. Our theme is "Friends Again."
We are pleased to announce the following adjudicators:
- Lindy Mandradjieff: Former member of San Francisco Ballet and New York City Ballet, Adjunct Professor at Pointe Park University
- Amy Ernst: Former dancer with Bella Lewitsky, associate professor at the University of Arizona
- John Selya: Star of Twyla Tharp’s The Times They Are A-Changin’ on Broadway, Tony nominated for Best Actor in a Musical as Eddie in Movin’ Out.
Our panel of adjudicators will be hosting panel discussions and teaching master classes.
Friends University has two beautiful, large dance studios, classrooms, and a 470-seat newly renovated performance hall located within the Riney Fine Arts Center.
Registration for the event will be $100 for participants of ACDFA member schools and $125 for nonmembers. Registration is on a first-paid, first-registered basis. Early registration is due by Dec. 1, 2007. A late fee will be assessed after that date. Payment is only accepted in the form of checks made out to the Friends University Ballet Department.
