Family Weekend

Schedule of events
Listed below are all the optional activities available on campus on October 5-6 to help you plan your weekend with your student.

Friday, October 5
4-5:30 p.m. – Check-in at Casado Campus Center

5:30-7 p.m. – Family style dinner at Casado Campus Center

Evening Option:

• 7:30 p.m. – Fall Ballet at Riney Fine Arts Center

Saturday, October 6
9 a.m.-Noon – Your choice of family activities

• Volunteer with Friends — Sign up to join a group serving in the local community.
  9 a.m.-Noon
  Meet at Davis Administration Building, Room 216 at 9 a.m.
  Attire: TBA

• Clock tower climb — Sign up for a 45 minute tour to overlook the City of Wichita.
  Tours at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. 
  Meet at Davis Administration Building 3rd floor lobby.
  Please Note: The entire climb includes several flights of stairs, a 10 foot vertical ladder, and a tight fit into a small space at the top of the clock tower. The view at the top of the stair climb is great, and participants may opt to stay at that level, but those who choose to go all the way to the top must be able to climb a ladder and encounter a small space.
  Attire: Pants or shorts required.

• Optional breakout sessions
  TBA at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Noon-1:30 p.m. – Lunch on your own

1:30-4 p.m. – Falcon Football at Adair Austin Stadium 

4-6 p.m. – Ice Cream Social at Rose Window Plaza with Friends University President Dr. T.J. Arant

Evening Options:

• 6 p.m. Women’s Soccer at Adair Austin Stadium
• 7:30 p.m. Fall Ballet at Riney Fine Arts Center
• 8 p.m. Men’s Soccer at Adair Austin Stadium
