New Student Orientation for Adult Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Adult undergraduate and graduate students that are new to Friends University have the opportunity to attend new student orientation on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Casado Campus Center. You will gain the resources to be successful while being a student. Resources available at this event include Financial Aid, Student Account Services, Career Services, Library/ARC and Multicultural Diversity.

This event begins at 5:30 p.m. with the resource fair where you can meet faculty and get your ID. This will run until 6:30 p.m. Both the Dean and Friends University President Dr. Amy Bragg-Carey will be on hand to give a brief welcome at 6 p.m. An ice cream social will follow from 6 – 6:30 p.m. Make sure to bring your walking shoes as groups will walk across campus for a tour of the Business & Technology Building (BTB) starting at 6:15 p.m. During these tours will be staggered for social distancing and will provide information on Moodle, registration and IT. Number of groups are dependent on attendance size. If there is bad weather then Instructional Orientation will start at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.

Social distancing and masks will be required. Visitors are limited to new students only.
