Frankenstein comes to Friends University Sept. 28-29

Wichita, Kan. – Friends University will present the recent adaptation of Frankenstein Friday, Sept. 28, and Saturday, Sept. 29. The fall theatre production is a new drama by Bo List and produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing Company.

Frankenstein is based on the 200-year-old gothic novel by Mary Shelly. It is a morality play, focusing on choices and their consequences.

“Frankenstein is about the consequences of playing God, and the consequences of not taking responsibility for one’s actions. Any fan of tragedies or horror stories will certainly enjoy the drama that is Frankenstein.” said Clayton Reitz, the student playing Victor Frankenstein in the play.

Ticket prices are $11 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. The show is appropriate for those aged 13 and above. The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.
